Web design - Copy
Cicli Bonanno is dedicated to crafting high-end steel bicycle frames. Meticulously built in the Berlin Officina by Italian framebuilder Niccolò Bonanno and his team, each frame reflects a relentless pursuit of perfection—blending modern techniques with timeless design to achieve beauty, harmony, and performance in every piece. As a partner of the Cicli Bonanno workshop, I contributed to the development of articles for the Journal—an editorial space designed to keep the community informed about the brand’s latest news, projects, and insights. The Journal serves as a bridge between Bonanno customers and passionate cyclists, offering a deeper look into its world through dedicated stories—delving into craftsmanship, vision, and the culture behind the making of every frame.
A dream build - Futomaki Disc ICR
This Journal article celebrates one of Bonanno’s flagship frame, the award-winning (Craft Bike Days 2024), Futomaki Disc ICR. The editorial explores the bike’s creation through a collaborative process with the client, capturing the excitement behind the project and the rider’s feelings after a test ride with Niccolò and his cycling community through Brandenburg. As requested by Bonanno, for this project, I designed the Journal with a particular focus on the bike’s crafting process outlining the details at the core of it and the final achievement, authoring the story behind it.

The Road to BESPOKED
Capturing the sense of joy and community that brings together a group of cyclists committed to riding 230 km through Germany, from Berlin to Dresden, this Journal’s article goal was to delve into the beauty of cycling when shared with friends and embraced in good spirit. Rather than focusing solely on its bicycles, Bonanno wanted to highlight its community by narrating the idea behind the Roundabout rides—a series of routes planned throughout the year to explore unconventional cycling destinations like art exhibitions, while linking design, culture, and craftsmanship. The Road to BESPOKED marked the closing of these rides for the 2024 season. The editorial design challenge was to bring together a rich collection of images taken during the day and build a visual narrative that followed the route and its emotions, from start to finish at the BESPOKED fair in Dresden, where a freshly built Bonanno was showcased at the renowned handmade bike show.
